in my opinion

This all started when my wife and I transferred a credit card balance to a Bank of America card. We were given a limit, and decided to transfer a previous balance equal to that limit from another card to the B of A card. Seems simple, right. What they failed to inform us was that after interest charges (a total of $12.78) were added, we were over the limit, and they added a $29.00 over the limit fee. When my wife called to complain, Kimberly Brown agreed to remove the over limit charge, as well as the interest charge. What they really meant was the interest on the $12.78 interest (or about $.55). When the next month rolled around, the same scenario happened again--"Sorry, Mrs. Batty, we'll remove the over limit charge and the interest." Again, they weren't talking about the $12.78 interest, but the interest on that interest. This month, (or as we call it, month three of this debacle) another bill showed up. Now, not only did they not remove last month's over limit fee, but they have added a late charge! So my bill for $12.78 worth of interest is now $42.32. I just got off the phone with them, and I argued they should forget the whole thing based on the problems they've been giving us. Kim Davis said they agreed to credit late fees if we will pay the $12.78! So, I have agreed to pay the $12.78--after all we do in fact owe it. But when I asked to speak to Kim's supervisor (Ricetta), Kim informed me she wasn't available. When I asked to speak to Ricetta's supervisor, Kim advised me that I would be getting no further today. So, I asked for their web address, (at first she wanted to know why I wanted it) and the email of their P/R department. They informed me that they didn't have a P/R department email, but I could send correspondence to:

Bank of America
PO Box 2493
Norfolk VA 23501

So, I will be sending a letter, pointing them to this page. I think they will then realize that I will get my $12.78, but I will take it from their flesh.
