Think back to the soundtrack of your high school years \u00e2\u20ac\u201c what were you listening to then?<br \/>\n<\/em>I was big into The Beatles then. Also, The Jimi Hendrix Experience. I can remember what albums I used to put on to play the drums along with: Skynyrd&#8217;s &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Second-Helping-Lynyrd-Skynyrd\/dp\/B000002P74\/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&#038;s=music&#038;qid=1219948174&#038;sr=1-1\">Second Helping<\/a>&#8221; and &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/One-More-Road-Lynyrd-Skynyrd\/dp\/B000002O7J\/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&#038;s=music&#038;qid=1219948445&#038;sr=1-1\">One More From the Road<\/a>,&#8221; Clapton&#8217;s &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Time-Pieces-Best-Eric-Clapton\/dp\/B0002ZEUJ0\/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&#038;s=music&#038;qid=1219948483&#038;sr=1-1\">Best Of<\/a>,&#8221; Peter Frampton&#8217;s &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Frampton-Comes-Alive-Peter\/dp\/B000009HF2\/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&#038;s=music&#038;qid=1219948519&#038;sr=1-1\">Frampton Comes Alive<\/a>.&#8221; I was in a band, and we would listen to David Lee Roth&#8217;s &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Eat-Smile-David-Lee-Roth\/dp\/B000002L9W\/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&#038;s=music&#038;qid=1219948555&#038;sr=1-1\">Eat &#8216;Em and Smile<\/a>&#8221; all the time. Bob Marley&#8217;s &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Rastaman-Vibration-Bob-Marley-Wailers\/dp\/B00005KBA0\/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&#038;s=music&#038;qid=1219948687&#038;sr=1-1\">Rastaman\u00c2\u00a0 Vibrations<\/a>&#8221; saw much play, as did James Brown&#8217;s &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Gravity-James-Brown\/dp\/B00000I9P8\/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&#038;s=music&#038;qid=1219948733&#038;sr=8-1\">Gravity<\/a>.&#8221; It was in high school too that I was first introduced to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/M-U-Best-Jethro-Tull\/dp\/B000003JAD\/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&#038;s=music&#038;qid=1219948768&#038;sr=1-3\">Tull<\/a>.<em \/><\/p>\n<p><em>2. It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s an average Thursday night\u00e2\u20ac\u201c what\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s on TV?<br \/>\n<\/em>The Cosby Show, I guess. I don&#8217;t really remember the line-up.<em \/><\/p>\n<p><em>3. What was playing at the local Bijou then?<\/em><br \/>\nSusan and I saw <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0099052\/\">Arachniphobia<\/a> in the theater. Really, in my home town, there wasn&#8217;t much happening by way of movies. <a href=\"http:\/\/rocklandstrand.com\/\">The Strand<\/a> had yet to be restored, and the big box movie house had yet to come to town. So if you didn&#8217;t like either of the two movies the Strand had, you had to wait until the following Thursday for two new ones. As a result, I don&#8217;t remember seeing many there. Movie rental places were all the rage then. I remember when you had to be a <em>member <\/em>before you could rent movies, and membership required money! I can remember a former girlfriend putting in reservations for &#8220;Dirty Dancing,&#8221; and having to wait for it to be returned.<em \/><\/p>\n<p><em>4. What character from \u00e2\u20ac\u0153The Breakfast Club\u00e2\u20ac\u009d best described you during high school: Judd Hircsh, the brooding rebel without a cause?\u00c2\u00a0 Molly Ringwald\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s pampered princess?\u00c2\u00a0 Ally Sheedy\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s freak in need of a bottle of Head &#038; Shoulders?\u00c2\u00a0 Emilio Estevez\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s varsity jacketed jock?\u00c2\u00a0 Or Anthony Michael Hall\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s dweeby dork?<\/em><br \/>\nI guess I was the dork. Not really, though. I think I was generally well liked, but I wasn&#8217;t the real popular kid. I was into music and drums, of course. (It was in high school I got the nickname &#8220;Billy Rhythm.&#8221;) I also did work in what would now be called the A\/V club. We didn&#8217;t really have that back then; we had 3-4 guys who liked lights and sound.<em \/><\/p>\n<p><em>5. Does looking back at your junior &#038; senior high class pictures cause you to cringe, wondering why nobody stopped you from walking out into public looking like that?\u00c2\u00a0 Why?\u00c2\u00a0 Mullet?\u00c2\u00a0 Poodle perm?<br \/>\n<\/em>My clothes were pretty normal, but I had some hair issues. I used to wear it <em>way <\/em>too long. It looked ok enough when short, but it didn&#8217;t stay that way for long. I used to part my <a href=\"http:\/\/angelispress.com\/TMR\/images\/batty04.gif\">hair in the middle<\/a>, and did until about five years ago.
