Friday Fill-In #109

1. I’d really like some uplifting words right now.

2. “Ow!” is the word you’d most often hear me say if I stubbed my toe. (Another word probably entered my mind, but I wouldn’t say it.)

3. Possession is a song by Sarah McLachlan that I particularly love. (Read about it here.)

4. What’s all the fuss about Captain Jack Sparrow.

5. Marshmallows and fire go together like grape juice and frog legs.

6. I have twin boys; it seems their energy is always on and on.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to hanging out with my sons, tomorrow my plans include tubing at the Snow Bowl with the whole family and some friends, and Sunday, I want to get a haicut!

  1. Dwane, Eben & Caleb are going snowtubing at the Snow Bowl this afternoon with 4-H. Let’s pray that all three of my boys come back in one piece.

  2. I always say two words when I stub my toe, and my oldest is always the first to come kiss it better :o) Ahhh, I can see it now, I’m gonna get pampered when I get to be an old lady.
I’m thinkin we need to invest in some Inner Tubes this year for our sledding experiences. I was taught (and passed it on to my family) that we should never have to pay for anything we do in the outdoors, so we don’t go places where you can rent them :oP
Tonight we may be doing some night-time sledding depending on if they finish their racing car on time.
    Happy Friday!

  3. One of these days I will try frog legs. Have fun tubing with your sons tomorrow.

I have my Friday-Fill in up now. I thought I had it set up to post automatically while I slept.

  4. My brother loves Sarah McLachlan…me not so much.

Ihave never had frog legs and I don’t like grape juice…but I love fireroasted marshmallows 🙂

  5. I really have to check out Sarah McLachlan’s song. I don’t think I know it yet…
Oh, and you asked for a translation for my answer to #2 – it’s up on my blog!

  6. I don’t know what all the fuss is about Captain Jack Sparrow. I fell asleep during the first film and didn’t bother with the other. Hope you had fun snow-tubing, and enjoy the snow!
