1. You do your thing; I do mine and sometimes it involves me playing drums.
2. Having to be put in a financial situation that forces me to sell my cymbals–the tools of my trade– is what’s been on my mind on and off all day.
3. Remember when you had extra money in the bank, and enough savings where you could have your own “snare drum fund”?
4. Susan, drums, working out are three of my favorite obsessions 🙂 (I know, hard to believe, but I’m really starting to like exercising!)
5. During the last year my outlook has really gone into the tank.
6. Playing the drums with friends puts a smile on my face.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to playing the drums at The Black Bull, tomorrow my plans include playing the drums at a Kiwanis picnic and playing the drums at a wedding, and Sunday, I want to play the drums in evening church!

Gee, I wish I could somehow make exercise one of my obsessions, too. I think I’m more obsessed with relaxing! Not good for the aging bod.
Hope you have a great (percussive) weekend!
jan

Someone has drums on the brain! Enjoy. BTW… back in the day I was a percussionist too!

I do hope you won’t get into a situation that you’ll have to sell your drums. Hey, when you get the rhythm, working out isn’t bad after all:) I do miss my father too. It’s still difficult to think about him.

i wish I could get up and go ahead with starting my workout too..

Hope you won’t have to sell your cymbals.
Would want to start exercising as well. Hope I would and be consistent with it.

now this reminds me so much of my dream of having a drum set of my own back then, haha!
