Friday Fill In #118

1. Angel or not, I will mutter under my breath at pedestrians who refuse to use the sidewalk, and instead walk in the road.

2. Susan, I will, ahem, let you have me any way you want me. 🙂 Wowza!

3. As my mother used to say, you’re full of beans.

4. I like to relax in the shower after I’m done working out or doing something strenuous.

5. Even in the most crowded of rooms there is still plenty of oxygen to go around. Cool, eh?

6. The day the government tries to come take my snare drums from me is a day fraught with peril–for them.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to getting home from my gig, tomorrow my plans include a birthday celebration and a gig, and Sunday, I want to ride my scooter–if the weather holds out!

Friday Fill In #116

1. Why do we have to work on Fridays? (Shouldn’t we just add that to the weekend too?)

2. Brushing twice daily and flossing are now habits.

3. I have gotten up earlier than normal this entire week.

4. I had never heard the phrase “raspberry butter spread on yak hide makes a tough treat surprisingly delicious,” and it doesn’t surprise me.

5. I hope pepole can avoid the potholes on Union street–instead of hit them–the way I always do.

6. How as I to know and not to wonder if perhaps this was a typo or %and ee cummings POem LEt out TO pla7y?

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to a cheeseburger “bar” for supper, tomorrow my plans include the Family Fun Fest and a gig in Bangor, and Sunday, I want to rest a little, scoot a little!

Friday Fill In #114

1. I’m not going to tell you what was my last random act of kindness. (See here for why. I’ll tell you this much, though. It meant an awful lot to me.)

2. Another place to store my massive used tea bag collection is in order.

3. Let me tell you, I’m not the guy to come to for advice in matters of the heart.

4. Coffee, tea or a mugful of steaming leaches.

5. Make sure you’re not FTP’ing those files up separate paths.

6. Our warmer weather reminds me that there is a scooter in my garage that needs to be ridden!

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to a gig, tomorrow my plans include a gig, and Sunday, I want to lose an hour of sleep!

Friday Fill In #113

1. I’m crazy, I’m kooky, I don’t know where to run.

2. Why do I have three kids and not any more? (‘Cause three is plenty, that’s why!)

3. How does this whole government plan of us spending money we don’t have to bail us out from spending money we didn’t have work, anyway?

4. Every morning, I put deodorant on my underpits.

5. I consider myself lucky because one time I hit the lottery playing the number 013 on June 6th of 2006, all while standing under a ladder, looking at myself in a broken mirror (while saying “Bloody Mary” three times) while a black cat crossed my path.

6. One day we’ll see our Maker face to face–whether we want to or not.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to playing funk with Groove Machine, tomorrow my plans include playing rock and blues with Blind Albert and Sunday, I want to play feel good island music with Steelin’ Thunder!
